Crystal Shapes - Sphere

WHAT SPECIAL PROPERTIES DO SPHERE SHAPED CRYSTALS HAVE?

There are so many decisions when choosing which crystal to work with. Is there a specific shape you're drawn to?

Personally, I find spheres to be so pleasing. They look smooth and symmetrical, and holding one in my hands feels comforting. But why?

Because of their shape, spherical stones emit a gentle energy in all directions at ones. They aren't as focused as a point, which can be a harsh energy if it's not what you're looking for. Another example is a pyramid, which is simultaneously grounding and uplifting. The smooth symmetry of a sphere brings a more even energy.

Spheres are balancing, nourishing and unifying. There are no edges - nothing to denote a strict beginning or end. The three-dimensional circle is also said to symbolize the cyclical nature of life and events coming full circle.

Polished stones in general are great for those of us who love the tactile stimulation of rubbing your fingers along a smooth stone. It's so easy to get lost in thought just turning one over and over in your hands.
